Delete your account
This page explains how to request deletion of your iBetterCoach account and personal data, in accordance with the GDPR (Art. 17 — right to erasure).
How to request deletion
- In the mobile app: Profile → Danger zone → “Delete account”.
- By email: privacy@ibettercoach.com (please include the email address on your account).
What happens next
- You will receive an email to confirm the request (the link is valid for 7 days).
- After you confirm, there is a 30-day period during which you can cancel and keep your account.
- Once that period ends, your personal and health data is permanently deleted or anonymised.
What data is deleted
Profile and identification data, measurements and photos, synced health data, check-in responses and associated plans.
What data is retained (and why)
Some records — namely billing records — are kept for the period required by tax law, with the user identifier anonymised. Copies in backups stop being accessible in production immediately and disappear completely as the backups expire.
